On a case by case basis, we will occasionally offer to build a website for a client if having one is crucial to their campaign and they don't already have one, or if their current site was built using FrontPage back in 1997.
If you're starting from scratch and haven't yet bought your domain, you'll need to do that first. Follow the steps below to purchase your domain name and hosting together at a great price and with a free SSL certificate for the first year. Once that's done, just notify our team so we can get started!
- Go on namecheap.com and create a new Account
- Once your account is created, while you’re logged in, begin searching for the ideal website domain you would like to have
- A domain name is essentially your website’s address, so search for a name that closely resembles your company’s name
- Focus on simple words or shorter domain names, not something that is complicated or difficult to remember or type
- Stick with a .com name if it’s available
- Once you find the name you like and confirm that it’s available, DO NOT select it. Make sure nothing is selected in your cart
- Instead, now go to the top menu and click on Hosting > Shared Hosting > and click on Stellar Plus Hosting for $2.98/month. Select to pay Annually, which will be $34.88
- Now, under “Domain Name Connection”, select New Domain Name
- Scroll a little bit down. Make sure “New Purchase” is selected.
- Scroll a little bit down. Where it says “Find a domain name:” just type in the domain name you chose earlier in Step 3. Don’t include the "www" Just type the domain name, such as greatsite.com or mynewname.net , etc
- Make 100% sure that the domain name you entered is spelled correctly
- Under search results, select the domain name (NameCheap will still offer other options)
- At the bottom of that section, click on “Connect to Hosting”
- Final Step: click on Add to Cart
- Check what’s in your Cart before paying
- You should only see two items in your checkout screen: 1) The Domain Registration for the domain name you chose, and 2) the Stellar Plus hosting package
- If everything looks good, click on Confirm Order
- Go ahead and pay for your Order

Key Points:
- You don’t need to buy an SSL Certificate separately, it already comes included the 1st year. Afterwards, it’ll just be $5.99/year starting on year 2
- You don’t need to pay for business email separately, since your hosting package already includes unlimited business email accounts (info@yoursite.com, nancy@yoursite.com, etc etc)
- The Stellar Plus hosting package actually allows you to host an unlimited number of websites. So you could (if you wanted to) purchase a few more domains to use for marketing and/or email campaigns, without paying again for additional hosting. You would just need to cover the cost of the each new domain (about $10/year, or whatever promo they have at the time)
